Anyway, we are realling looking forward to our PS visit, so at least we can put those cold thoughts to rest for a couple of weeks. We're going to wait and see how the biopsy report comes back before Carolee makes a definitive move to write her CA nursing exam, but, with any luck, this will be the last winter up here.

There is an outdoor Rolling Stones concert in downtown Halifax starting this PM, and with no shelter for the fans, it looks like it will be a soggy one - not to mention cold. Man, I wouldn't go within 5 miles of that location today for any amount of money!
So, all you folks in PS can be justifably smug as you lather on the sunscreen and lay around the pool - and that's okay, because in less than 3 weeks we'll be doing the same thing

Summer might be officially over according to the calender, but right now we are having our Indian Summer. Palm Springs will see some Triple digits in October... I hope I see & feel that next week... 100+ in PS make Logic HAPPY all the time Enjoy the heat....and have some FUN in the SUN

Well summer is almost over for 2007 Sunday, Sept. 23rd. I do not like summer being over. In Palm Springs the high yesterday was only 77. We might see a 100 day in October...90's for sure. But I think we are going to have an early fall & very cool winter. They have had snow already in the upper Sierra Nevada's. We had a snow alert for the upper levels of the Coachella Valley. What would LOGIC do with snow? Mix a drink? YES
In The Desert Sun Newspaper this week there was an article on how the locals had to endure 107 days(2007) of 100+ temps in the desert. What do they expect...ITS SUMMER TIME in PALM SPRINGS... In 2006 we had 118 days worth... I think it was much cooler this year! We didn't get above 115. LOGIC is already wearing his PS I LOVE YOU Sweater!
Over all, Palm Springs is still my favorite place to spend for winter... Unless I am at my Dad's in Queensland, Austrailia! During there summer time!... Now I can handle that too. But then I would miss the season in PS! What to do?

It might be 3 days into fall 2007...but it was a nice warm 96 in Palm Springs today. Looking forward to the low 90's in the 1st weeks of October for my holiday! Here at home it only got up to a sunny, but nice 70 LOGIC, you do not need the parka just yet!
