I don't drink a lot but I do like a quality beer and Alaskian Beer fits the bill. Any other fans out there ?
Up here, we seem to be famous for Mounties, snow, hockey, and beer (not necessarily in that order). We have some really excellent brews...unfortunately, the only one that seems to get exported is a somewhat nasty concoction called "Moosehead" (which, incidentally, I have seen in stores in Palm Springs). Up here, knowledgeable beer drinkers refer to it as "Moose Pi*s", and usually won't have anything to do with it. Personally, I'd rather drink a good quality furniture polish than tackle a bottle of Moosehead, but then again, that's just me. Ah well....there's my rant for the day

A funny thing, in the USA, you have a wider selection of beers available in your stores than we would have in the UK in a Liquor store and worse than that it is usually cheaper to purchase in the US
Life is just not fair. Have a good day

The thing that amazes me about beer and liquor prices in Palm Springs (and other parts of the US) is the price variation. e.g...a 1.14 liter bottle of Smirnoff Red Label vodka costs $35 up here. Down there, I have seen it as low as $14 - go figure (I could be a happy drunk in Palm Springs!....just kidding)!
You guys are making me thirsty... Long Island Iced Tea, Please... Hey Don, we will have to get a six pack of that Alaskian Amber when we are in Palm Springs in October & throw a couple back out by the pool...& let the girls go shopping! Heck, stop by LOGIC's for a beer too! I'm buying...

Have a great one,
