Also, in PS on Indian...when will they ever get that work done. ?
Also, when will Indian Ave at I10 ever be widened? These overpasses have been done for LaQuita, Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage for the wealthier end of the valley but not at the western end. Why hasn't it been done yet?
I was up in Morongo Vly Saturday when it began to snow. It came straight down and was heavy like rock salt coming down. It lasted about an hour. Had been sunny only an hour before.
I saw on the news that the mayor of PS may initiate eminent domain on the empty Fashion Plaza if Wessman doesn't start doing something with it. Downtown PS is one of those places, to me, that you see it once and not much to go back for unless you meet friends for expresso or eat out.
Take care
Maybe it should just stay the way it is and keep it clean, safe and do away with that puerile fountain at Alejo and Palm Cyn Dr. The powers that have been and the citizens seemed to have planned downtown PS to be the way it is; town-like, sleepy albeit not quaint. Attempts are made to glamor it up with the Walk of Stars to play on the celebrities that are and have visited here. PS has always been a place to come and relax. It's always been known as place to retire. A place for senior citizens. That lifestyle is reflected in downtown PS.
The citizens and planners of PS have allowed all the businesses to go to Palm Desert. El Paseo is much more fun and interesting than PS and they also have a real malls nearby and the Living Desert. So, that's where I go to peruse through the art galleries, eat, shop and people watch.
