i remember waaaay back in the dark ages (i was probably around 11 or 12 years old), my mom, sister, aunt and 2 cousins visited a place in palm springs that was more like a ranch - horses, a gigumbo pool, etc.  that was maybe in 1961-62.  i have a picture of myself doing some kind of goofy dive off the diving board.  i can't remember where exactly it was.  i'll have to ask my mom if she remembers .  i doubt its still there.  thanks for the memories, red and leslie!
