Ok Logic and the Viper Logic Team have devised a master plan for the Palm Springs Weather and this Palm Springs Discussion group forum.

2008 shall bring to our PsViewer's the best we can do for Palm Springs Tourism.

1 We will be activating the 6 cams missing from the website by February.

2 We are going to under go a small makeover for PsView.com the live Palm SPrings weather and cam website we all enjoy today.

3 We are going to add weather from the north Palm Springs weather station for the first time. There is a large differance between north and south Palm Springs in regards to wind and altitude that effects the weather readings and we want to share this with you all.

We are going to promote the Palm Springs weather and the Palm Springs forum into our beach weather and beach forum sites to bring these all together. This will include links from the new Beverly Hills Weather, Hollywood Weather, and Irvine Weather. These 3 websites are in production right as we speak and they will follow the release of the surf, tide, sun rise. set water temp, moon phases, etc. scheduled for release for the California Weather Authority on the California Beach Weather website February 2008.

Please notice that we are always adding or developing new features and improvements for our family of California Weather Authority websites and we incurrage each of you no matter how small the idea is to share your thoughts with us on how these weather websitess can better serve you.

You might not be aware of this but if you ever have a new idea or concept that you want to partner with us Viper Logic is as we are told all of the time some of the nicest people to work with. So in 2008 please never be afraid or shy to talk with us we are here for you this is our policy and it has been for the now 15 years of operation. Ok update to our New Years 2008 Corp. resolution for the year.

The sky crane will arrive even if the rain hits here. We are beginning our repeated commitment to bring to you all the return of the 5 downtown and 1 north Palm Springs live cams.

Saturday the installations begins and in a few short weeks these cams shall begin to come back online at PsView.com.

We will stay on this and the other updates until they are completed and we truly thank you all for your continued email of support. Cool

Crane arrives at the Viper Logic Operations Center in downtown Palm Springs so we are on schedule to begin these cam updates starting Saturday. Just remember that this start and until you the PsViewer's begin to see the images again will take 2 weeks.

Ok the first run at reaching the antenna came up 26 feet short. We will order a larger crane to take the Logic team to replace that wireless antenna for those great downtown Palm Springs views.

We will update our fellow PsViewer's after next weekend. Then we will see if we can maintain our schedule to begin having these live cams for us all still within the 2 weeks wrapping them up one by one after that. Cool

Sounds great, Logic. I know I can't speak for everyone, but I, for one, really miss those Strip cams. They tend to give one a PS "fix" and keep me looking forward to next October! Besides, what better way to keep up on the Thursday evening VillageFest? For us here in the 'outside world', it's a little touch of home BigGrin

Hello LOGIC,

I have to agree with Don...I miss the views to BigGrin As you know, no one has a more love for Palm Springs them me...well maybe one or two Wink You, Catnip, & IslandintheSun, keep up the great work...I know you are very busy, and this cam stuff takes time. See you there Smile

As for the www.CaliforniaBeachWeather.com , that is a cool sight too. I love your plans on how you are going to expand this site & forum. Your NEW moderator, Skimchick is doing a good job. I hope & pray the site grows & works out as you see it doing. I know it will.

Oh wow thank you all for your support. We have a 100 foot boom to arrive on Saturday or sooner there is such and equipment back order these days although it is beginning to slow.
