I once lived in Claremont. A 4 bedroom house. So "family". The big dog, the big family room. It was beautiful. A really friendly commuity!
I once lived in a cabin...all wood, pot-belly stove, wood decks to sit out on to watch the morning Blue Jays. Hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter right in my front yard!
*I now live in Palm Springs~ Taxi's, night clubs, theatres, A really friendly commuity, a back yard to sit in and see the mountains, hiking all year long, bike trails, awesome restaurants, pet friendly, lots of shopping, Logic & Catnip!

Moved with them to Sherman Oaks, another San Fernando Valley suburb--NICE area. Then my sister and I bought a condo in North Hills, which is another burb--but it went downhill, too. She still owns it; she bought me out when Frank & I got married and wanted to buy our own home. (she rents it out)
When we were first married, we lived in Frank's apt. in Tarzana, about 6 miles west of Sherman Oaks. Then we bought our little home in Valencia, which is about 15 miles north of Sherman Oaks. After a couple of years, we were able to move here to Winnetka, which is in the northwestern part of the SFV. And here we are. So, I haven't gone very far from my beginnings, but I do love the weather here. And it's close to PS! I can't see us retiring here, though, since everything is so high. We'll see!
Anyone else? Where'd you come from to either "end up" in Palm Springs or have Palm Springs be a part of your life.......................?
