Hi everyone, hope I'm posting correctly. just want to introduce myself. I have been to PS 3 times and can't wait to get over again. Scotland is just too cold for me..

it's HOT and want to move over to stay for good!! course it's just a dream at the moment

I cannot even imagine how cold it must be there. PS is so wonderful with its warm nights during the spring/summer (and into fall)...

Is it snowing there?? I guess that's OK as Christmas is approaching, but I wouldn't want a steady diet of it! (Sorry to my friends back East!!)

Anyway, we are VERY glad to have you with us!! Post often, please!

Hello Stewart, Logic welcomes you and would like to share a dream Logic had when 10 years ago while visiting form a location within the same state of California.

Logic and friend Catnip would visit every other weekend into Palm Springs.

One night while at Melvyn's restaurant in the bar while drinking our share plus a few peoples share of great drinks (cocktails) we realized that living and working in Palm Springs would reduce the drive time to the bar if we would just move here and while the rest is history we made the best discission ever allowing us to create great products or project like this Palm Springs forum you are reading and participating in today.

Being from a very busy city never could have allowed us to be this creative and also allowing us to build website after website for ourselves but yet with a sharing style which most of our websites are.

Relocation to Palm Springs is easier then we ever thought as since the real estate prices are so low compare to the US dollar conversion Palm Springs is a low cost solution for building a wonderful life looking forward we cannot wait until we see what is next for us here in Palm Springs, California.

Hi Stuart....from a Canadian Scot, welcome to the forum. I have to agree with the concensus that there is just no place like Palm Springs (and surrounding area). We try to vacation there once a year, (this year was an exception, but it's a long story and I won't get into that just now) and hopefully will be moving there within the next couple of years. You'll find the folks here are a friendly, eclectic lot and I'm sure you will enjoy the forum, so, as Lesley has said, "Welcome Aboard"! Smile

I always stayed in the wyndam i think it's called but so want to stay in the living desert one night... also Frank Sinatra fan so where else is there Smile
