Can you believe how fast the year has flown by...Christmas is Monday and 2007 is right around the corner
My friends here on the forum have asked if all is good up here in Washington State..meaning, are you guys ok! Yes, we are doing good. Most of the wind storm that hit our state, did most of the damage on the coast. Over 1,000,000 people lost power for a few days. In fact, some still do not have power. I live in Central Washington, we did get some of that wind, gusts up to 60 miles/hour, plus we did get some snow.
As for not being online lately...just been busy with work. We are getting to the end of the year and my company are pushing sales #'s for us to hit. Right now I just want to enjoy the 3 day weekend with Joanne, family, & friends(that includes those close to us from here)..and have a fun filled and loving Christmas

Love the picture of downtown Palm Springs, wish I was there. The weather report is calling for more ice and snow on Sunday. Stay tuned and see if the powers to be can keep the Interstates open. Saturday will be a fun day. I'm going with my daughter and two grandsons to the Whitaker center in downtown Harrisburg. The Whitaker center has a children's science museum and this Saturday morning they are conducting a winter camp, called "Diggin for Dinos". So we'ill be checking out the dinosaurs. The website to the Whitaker center is www.whitakercenter.org/home/
Enjoy your weekend, think of me freezing around here again come Sunday.

Looks like this weekend will be a wash for me...I still have this garbage and, in fact, my throat is sorer today than the last 2 days. I went out to get a couple of things at the market and felt like a ragdoll! I'm glad to be home!
EVERYONE, have a good weekend...Shirley, please report back on the dinos!! I know you all will have fun!!
I'll report back about the Dino's. Alex will be going to the winter camp, so if you want to check out what he'll be doing click on the camp section. The Whitaker Center is located in downtown Harrisburg within a few blocks of the the Capital building. The Hilton Hotel is connected to the building. It makes for a great family vacation to book in the Hilton in Harrisburg, see a show at the Sunoco theatre, play at the Whitaker Center than drive about 10 miles and play at Hershey Park. I just saw Dave Koz the other week at the Sunoco theater. I love the place there isn't a bad seat in the house.
Next year there will be a big casino opening in this area. The theme of the casino is old Hollywood and it will be located by the race track in Grantville, Pa. The location also is within five miles of Hershey and about 15-20 miles from Harrisburg. In Lebanon where I live it's right on are doorstep. This area has the potential of becoming a major tourist attraction. There is major potential for tourism to grow.
Take care of yourself Lesley, maybe you should go see a doctor.
