Yum yum really...when you eat at Leon's, you will soon find out the menu, fare priced as it is that it is merely a guideline to anything you can ask for. Besides the owners greet you and they are also your personal chef as this is a secret locals' hangout located near pool side at the Ramada Resort on east Palm Canyon Drive and Sunrise way. BigGrin

Wow- your website is very different from when I contacted you in April. I asked you what the best Mexican place in town was and you recommended El Mirasol- and you weren't the only one- I have friends and cousins in PS who advised us to go there also- and I know Barry Manilow is a regular. However, our visit there was disapointing to say the least. Mean waitress, marginal Margaritas (which is a sin) and the food was average. A few nights later (Thursday, street festival night) we hit Las Casuelas Terrazza- which we have been to many, many times over the years- which was excellent. Great service, good food, good margs, atmosphere that cannot be beat Smile

- BUT, we DID get there early (no crowds)- about 4PM. On street festival night, you get there early, drink some Margaritas, then go shop and people watch on the street- totally fun!

Can't wait to be there again next April- love the weather cams- we stood on Palm Canyon and waved at them!

Hello Barb. We are sorry about your dining experience as you know food is the second major thing to do while in Palm Springs besides the weather. We are glad you found another place to enjoy on your next night. We eat at El Marisol and out of 4 trips the food was great on 3 trips but we do know what you are saying about the moral of the place it has a problem and we are really sorry we recommended it to you for your special trip to stay in Palm Springs. Thank you for enjoying this new tool Palm Springs Discussion groups. Next time you are here stop by our place for a goodie as we have some ok Palm Springs things we give to visitors Barb, we would love for you to have them and this way we can apologize about your experience with some mexican food restaurants here in paradise. Cool

You are so nice! We will stop in next time- I thought about it last time, but thought it would seem weird. I don't mind bad experiences at restaurants- it gives us something to talk about. And in PS, there are no REAL bad experiences, because, after all, it is Palm Springs. I miss it even now.

I know that Logic LOVE'S eating at Leon's.... In fact I know he and Catnip are eating Turkey there today... So if you don't have plans check out the Thanksgiving menu... Should be GREAT Smile
