Saying Farewell to a well known Palm Springs resident.
President Gerald and First Lady Betty Ford have called Rancho Mirage/Palm Springs home for 30 year now. Yesterday President Ford said goodbye for the final time as he was flown to Washington DC to lay in State. As a former resident of Palm Springs, and one who rememebers when the Ford's came to live in the desert. I'd like to say thank you Mr. President & First Lady for all that you have done and meant to us in the Coachella Valley. We will miss you. He came to Palm Springs after he left office aboard Air Force One....Yesterday he left aboard Air Force One...
