Hey Everyone! I am Shannon, and I just moved to the desert from the East Coast in March. It is so beautiful and cultural out here, but I have been finding myself extremely bored lately Doze

probably bexcause I don't know anyone out here. I really could use a few new friends and some tips on where some hotspots for women are....

Welcome to the forum. You came to the right place to make friends. As for helping you find cool places to hang out in the desert, just need to know you likes & dislikes and we should be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi Shannon! I know how you feel! If you read my posts from the "beginning" I too was anxiously looking for things to do. Didnt want to spend a lot of money, didnt want to sit at home though! I have found a lot of great things to do! Okay now, must keep an open mind around here! My friend Alajandra is 21 and my friend Ellen is in her 70's. And everyone else including myself is somewhere in between! We all do stuff and go out! Really! DO NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S age, color sexual orientation or career around here or you'd totally be missing out on all the FUN!

Tonight at the Hotel Zoso they are having appetizers and drinks pool side with movies playing. Not sure what time it starts but I will be there around 8ish?

Remember, EVERY THURSDAY IS VILLAGEFEST IN PS! Pizza in hand, shopping is FUN!

Hi Everyone!
My name is Kristen and I'm 25 years old. I'm moving in with my boyfriend at the end of August. I'm coming from LA and although I love the fact that I'll finally be with my boyfriend, I am admittedly more than a bit nervous about becoming deathly bored. I will be working from home and so it's even worse not having any co-workers to look forward to meeting.

Anyway, I read how nice you all are on here and decided to write. I'm hoping to find some things to do and to meet some new cool people. I would love for my boyfriend and I to be able to be a part of an active social group. My boyfriend is 34 and a business executive. We're both very friendly, outgoing, active, chill, fun, and non-flakey young people. He's lived in PS for a while but works like crazy and is used to visiting me in LA for entertainment: he's not too much help in this arena and so he's a little worried about my sanity too. Thank you in advance for your input and advice!

Ok Logic want s to ask you if you like to work with pets as a volunteer as in the valley we have a lot of animal help organizations.

We also have business organizations that you can join and make a lot of friends this is what Logic did when Logic and Catnip first arrived in Palm Springs in 1999.

Also there is this event coming up (this is a plug) the 2nd annul PsViewer's Event/Party night with the list being opened for inclusion as well as the party location also being announced on Saturday September 01 2007. David C. the Palm Springs Forum moderator will be handling all of this starting on that day.

Thank god we have David he has done a lot to bring this annual event into reality. We love David and Joanne very much for all they continue to do for the Palm Springs Forum.
